I am researaching my mother's CARMACK line. Her parents were Calvin Cheatham CARMACK and Annie Rose BUMGARNER. Calvin was the son of John William CARMACK and Susan BAKER, who was the son of John CARMACK and Nancy Ann EDWARDS (both of whom died and are buried in Greene County, Arkansas), John CARMACK was the son of William CARMACK and Pency KENT of Craven County, North Carolina. Have been unable to go any further back. Any information is appreciated.

The line I am researching is William CARMACK/Jane MCDANIEL, Cornelius CARMACK/Margery Jane EVANS, William CARMACK/Elizabeth WALKER, Levi CARMACK/Elizabeth PETERS. Levi & elizabeth supposedly had a daughter Katie born 1814 in Claiborne Co TN. However, I can't find any confirmation of that. Katie was supposed to have married an Isaac Samuel GODSEY. Can anyone give more info on Katie or any of the Carmacks and especially the wives families? I really don't have much except for dates & a little about William & Cornelius in the military. Thanks!
